If you want to use Ethminer, you can download it through official sources:
Required:
- Hardware
- Windows 10
- Internet connection
- Mining pool of your choice and your ethereum wallet address
Steps:
1. Download ethminer
- Direct link: https://github.com/ethereum-mining/ethminer/releases/download/v0.11.0/ethminer-0.11.0-Windows.zip
- Github link(you need to download: https://github.com/ethereum-mining/ethminer/releases
2. Unzip the folder.
3. Make a new txt file inside the folder where ethminer.exe is located
4. Open the txt file you created, copy and paste this template:
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
ethminer.exe -P stratum1+tcp://<YourEthereumAddress>.<UserName>@eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -U -R
To get a full list of commands open the command line in a folder with ethminer.exe and write ethminer –help
Note: after changes save the txt file and rename it from ethminer_start.txt to ethminer_start.bat
5. After that, launch the bat file and the miner will start mining Ethereum to your mining pool.
